This unique, collectible Pug was once a countertop advertisement for soap sold by JA Larking & Company.

Made of cardboard, it is a very realistic, and very elegant Pug dog, sporting a very dapper collar, that advertises the product “Ocean Bath Toilet Soap.”

He is also seated on a base that reads: “An excellent towel with every 25 cent box.”

Measuring 13 1/4″ tall x 8 1/4″ wide, he would look wonderful framed and added to your antique Pug collection.

He is in outstanding condition overall. He did have a small tear on his right ear, but it appears that it was taped along the back, and has held together quite well.

Owning this handsome gent, presents a fabulous opportunity to combine a touch of retail history, with a uniquely special work of antique dog art.
