The Skye Terrier dog is one of Anri’s most popular hand carved wood creations. This wonderful pup is lying on top of a wooden box.

When his tail is pressed, the box opens and he rises to peek over the lid into the opening box. This box is in great condition, the mechanism is fragile, and it works perfectly. The original foil label is still attached to the underside of this box.

At 4″ tall x 5 3/4″ l x 3 1/2″ wide, this whimsical box, once originally used to hold cigarettes, can easily be re-purposed to hold all sorts of trinkets and treasures. The look of anticipation on this highly-detailed pup’s face, with his bright red tongue hanging out, can’t help but bring out a smile, and perhaps a chuckle from anyone who sees it.
