This rare, and fabulous pair of brass sporting dogs, are “fire dogs”, which were originally designed to grace the mantel of an English fireplace.

One is a Setter, and the other is a Pointer. Each one is standing, poised for action, on identically, highly detailed bases.
They each stand 3 1/4″ tall and extend 7″ in length. They are each in excellent condition.

If you are a sporting dog enthusiast, this pair would certainly make a unique and treasured addition to your collection.
If you simply are looking to upgrade the look of your fireplace, you definitely can’t go wrong with this elegant pair of enthusiastic hunters.
