This stunning porcelain reclining Borzoi dog was produced by Rosenthal in the late 1930’s and originally designed by F. Heidenreich in 1934. It is a tremendous tribute to this designer’s ability to capture the Borzoi’s quiet dignity and graceful elegance.
This dog is modeled in exquisite detail, from her expressive face to her luxurious and abundant swirls of fur. The mark on the bottom reads “Rosenthal Germany. She is in mint condition, reclining at 3 1/2″ tall x 6″ long x 5” wide. This gorgeous dog will add elegance to any room. It is the perfect choice for lovers of the breed, and a “must-have” in any Rosenthal collection.
