We are so excited to have found this rare and exquisite porcelain Rat Terrier! Just like his intelligent, alert, loving and well-mannered “flesh and fur” counterpart, this wonderful dog, named and made popular by President Teddy Roosevelt, strikes an elegant pose. He looks at us with an alert gaze, from eyes that have a slight touch of blue-gray, which make them look all the more realistic. He was modeled in the Gotha Pfeffer Porcelain Factory, Thuringa, Germany between 1900-1934, and is in excellent condition. He measures 3″ tall x 6″ long x 2″ wide. Porcelain figurines of Rat Terriers that are this gorgeous are truly unique and wonderful to own. This wonderful figurine would make an incredible gift to an owner and lover of the breed, as well as a very special addition to your canine porcelain collection.
