A well-known and popular cigar ashtray, this vintage piece has the classic Mack Truck Bulldog hood ornament , poised on its hind legs at its center. There is a cigar rest on each side of the Bulldog.

A well-known and popular cigar ashtray, this vintage piece has the classic Mack Truck Bulldog hood ornament , poised on its hind legs at its center. There is a cigar rest on each side of the Bulldog.

The entire piece is made of chrome and it is in excellent condition, with some slight scratches on the underside. Otherwise, it is the most superb example we have seen.

It was made by the Central Die Casting & Manufacturing Company of Chicago between the 1950’s – 1960’s. The Bulldog is 5″ tall and is wearing a collar with “MACK” on it. On his chest, it reads: “Design Patent 87931”. The ashtray is 7 1/4″ in diameter. This iconic cigar ashtray would make the perfect gift for your favorite cigar smoker, Bulldog enthusiast, or Mack truck memorabilia collector.
