This heartwarming, hound dog figurine was designed by Karl Ens from the 1920’s through the 1930’s, in Volkstedt, Thuringia, Germany.

Perhaps because of his very life-like colouring and his soulful expression, he is a highly sought after Ens dog, and therefore not many often come to market.

Measuring a full 6″ tall x 4″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, he is in excellent condition, and well-marked on his underside.
