These striking, vintage Collie dog bookends were hand cast by the Philadelphia MFG Company.
They are made of a very heavy metal and painted a vivid, metallic gold.
The result is exquisite, and a truly rare find.
They each measure 4 1/2″ tall x 5 3/4″ long x 4″ wide, and they are in excellent, flawless condition.
The original label is on the underside of one. The undersides are covered differently: one is covered with felt and the other is covered with vinyl.
These Collie dog bookends have a wonderful, mid-century modern appeal, yet they would look equally gorgeous in a more traditional decor.
They would make a unique and beautiful addition to any Collie dog collection, and the perfect Collie Lover’s gift.
