Great things come in small packages! This little lock is made of Bakelite, and its’ charm comes from the tiny black Scottie dog, standing at its’ center, that is covered with a clear resin “bubble”. There are some very slight surface scratches to the bubble, but the Scottie is in near perfect condition. There are some scratches at about 11:00 on the inner edge of the bakelite that surrounds the bubble, but it does not affect the image of the Scottie. There is a screw on the right side of the lock, that when turned, releases the bar that can be pulled up and turned to allow you to slide on keys,or slide it through a locking device. This is a wonderful, unique bakelite item that is in good vintage condition. It is 1 1/4″ long x 3/4″ tall. Just as a collector’s piece, it is remarkable, but it can also be put to good use as a lock or a key chain.
