This delightful Fox Terrier dog was issued by Goebel between 1972 – 1979 and then retired. Standing 4 1/2″ tall x 4 1/2″ long x 2″ wide, it is small in size but huge in charm.

This delightful Fox Terrier dog was issued by Goebel between 1972 – 1979 and then retired. Standing 4 1/2″ tall x 4 1/2″ long x 2″ wide, it is small in size but huge in charm. This pup is in mint condition, and marked “Goebel W Germany” on its inner thigh. Although Fox Terriers are not a breed you see often now, they have always been the favorite subjects of artists and collectors. This may be in part due to their highly curious, dynamic and playful dispositions, as well as their gorgeous tri-color coats and expressive dark eyes. This wonderful, porcelain figurine captures all that quite well.
