This unique, vintage, cast metal pipe rest, has the sweetest Scottish Terrier pup seated on it. Measuring 3 1/4″ tall x 6 1/2″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, it consists of an oval base with a lovely detailed edging, a spoon-shaped pipe rest, and of course, the Scottie pup, seated with his nose positioned, with great curiosity, to almost touch any pipe that would be placed there.
The entire piece has its original paint, and it is in great, vintage condition. The screws that hold the Scottie and the pipe rest to the base are a bit loose, and cause the pup to swivel a bit, but they still hold both pieces securely.
This is a wonderful find for anyone who collects vintage pipe rests. And, of course, is the fabulous Scottish Terrier, who is not like many that are usually paired with a piece of Tobacciana.
