This wonderful, vintage brass and glass Scottie dog lamp is not one you will often see. It has a metal platform base, with edges that are rolled under on each of the short sides. It is 8″ long x 4″ wide. On the left of this platform sits an adorable, sleepy-looking Scottie dog made of solid brass. This puppy is 2 1/4″ tall x 2 3/4″ long x 2″ wide. The gorgeous shade is a soft pink glass, etched in a honeycomb pattern. It hangs suspended over the bulb socket and bulb, held in place by a somewhat flexible strip of metal that is attached to the base. The entire lamp is 9″ tall. It is in wonderful vintage condition and in great working order. The glass shade is in excellent condition. Because of its low profile, it is best used as either a desk lamp or as a night light. It would add a sweet, whimsical touch to a child’s room or on a lady’s vanity or desk.
