This fabulous Scottish Terrier dog has “upped” the “glam” with a gorgeous rhinestone-studded head and body, and a goldtone enamel, textured coat, that is accented with an additional three rhinestones.
This vintage Scottish Terrier pin was designed by the D’Orlan Jewelry Company, founded by Maurice Bradden in 1957.
M. Bradden had previously trained under the French jeweller, Marcel Boucher. When M. Bradden started up his own company, he sold some of his own designs, but he primarily produced costume jewelry for the Boucher Company.
He became known for using a high standard, 22 karat, triple-plating process over pewter. This process is still highly regarded within the industry.
This wonderful pin is in mint condition. This dazzling dog measures 1 1/4″ tall x 1 1/2″ long.
