This vintage decanter is a unique version of Bonzo, made in Germany, between the 1930’s – 1940’s.

This little canine character is still as endearing and popular as he was when he first appeared as a cartoon character in 1922. Back then, he was the envy of politicians and film stars. He appeared on posters, on stage, in films and in every toy store.

This decanter gives Bonzo a very different look, while at the same time, keeps just enough of his character to make him recognizable.

Measuring a full 8″ tall x 3 3/4″ long x 2″ wide, he is a pale grey, with a very bright red nose and open mouth.

Other than a bit of the red paint worn off of his nose, he is in excellent condition.

His comical cap comes off to reveal an intact cork stopper.

He will certainly make a fabulous addition to any Bonzo or vintage decanter collection.
