This magnificent hand carved, Black Forest Boxer head hook might have once been used as a whip hook, or one half of a gun rack. The detailing of this dog’s head is extraordinary! You can see every wrinkle, muscle, and line on his face, including a boxer’s classic “droopy” jowls. He has glass inset eyes that look almost real. While the wooden plaque that the dog’s neck is mounted to shows some very mild scratches, the dog’s head and neck are in excellent condition. There is a very old metal piece screwed onto the back. This is a “one-of-a-kind” piece that can be re-purposed to use as a leash hook. Or, don’t use it for anything but a decorative piece. It’s fantastic to just look at!
