This gorgeous, silverplate, figural Scottish Terrier napkin ring is so extraordinarily detailed, you will want to look at it from all sides.
This gorgeous, silverplate, figural Scottish Terrier napkin ring is so extraordinarily detailed, you will want to look at it from all sides.
It certainly mirrors a classic Victorian style with heavy and glorious ornamentation. Measuring 2 1/2″ tall x 3″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, it has the highly-detailed Scottie standing alongside the ring.
The dog is guarding his empty food bowl, possibly in the hope of getting it refilled soon.. The ring is lavishly covered in grapes and leaves. The Scottie, his bowl and the ring all rest on a highly-detailed, triangular-shaped base.
Given the unique look of this extraordinary napkin ring, we believe that is was designed by Chip Grigley. It is in excellent condition.
