This wonderful figurine depicts a pair of hunting dogs. One is a Setter and the other is a Pointer. Both look quite intent on the task at hand. It is a large figurine, measuring a full 16″ long x 7.5″ wide x 10″ tall. It is well marked on it’s underside, including the Royal Dux pink triangle. It is exquisitely detailed. The Setter dog has an abundance of fur lines and a beautifully feathered tail. The Pointer, shows off his lean, muscled form to perfection, and his calm and focused expression is extraordinary. They are on a naturalistic-looking base with swirls of leaves and underbrush. This figurine is in excellent, flawless condition. It is hand-painted in soft shades of moss green, cream, with touches of gold. This piece would look extraordinary on a mantle, or on a sideboard in a formal dining room. It would also blend well into an office or a den. Wherever it is placed, its combination of movement and grace, will surely make it the focal point of the room.
