Can we “Fetch” a classic Cocker Spaniel
or perhaps another new friend for your consideration?
This totally charming, vintage Cocker Spaniel was created by Royal Arden Hickman (1893-1969) for the then called “Royal Haeger” brand of the Haeger Company of Dundee, Illinois. Measuring a full 9″ tall x 8 1/2″ long x 6 1/4″ wide, she is in excellent condition. She has a beautiful high gloss glaze, and is painted in a gorgeous mix of golden tan, soft brown and caramel tones.
In addition to her abundance of swirling “Cocker curls”, it is her expression that truly grabs your attention. Anyone who has ever loved a Cocker Spaniel is quite familiar with their gentle personality and always affectionate gaze. This wonderful figurine captures both of those precious characteristics perfectly. Hang on to your heart when you look at this gorgeous girl.
For Cocker Spaniel collectors, this is truly a wonderful addition to your collection, especially since It is no longer in production.
