This wonderful pair of Art Deco bookends feature a sitting puppy dog. They were made by the Frankart company, and each one is stamped “FRANKART INC PAT APPLD FOR.” Measuring 3 3/4″ tall x 5 3/4″ long x 3 1/2″ deep, they retain their original paint, and although they show a slight bit of wear on the black paint of the bases, they are in excellent condition. The pups are painted a matte silver and show off a gorgeous Art Deco detailing on their ears and on their faces. The arched back of the bookends also carry an Art Deco design. The bottom of one of the bookends is missing a felt.
This pair of bookends is hard-to-find and would be the perfect addition to a bookend collection, as well as a wonderful, Art Deco, decorative addition to any home.
