Rare Dahl Jensen French Bulldog Dog Figurine c.1897-1925
“Extraordinary” is the word we’ve chosen to describe this very hard to find, porcelain figurine.
Can we “Fetch” a classic Boston Terrier
or perhaps another new friend for your consideration?
“Extraordinary” is the word we’ve chosen to describe this very hard to find, porcelain figurine.
Some describe him as a French Bulldog puppy and others describe him as a Boston Terrier. Either way, this exquisite pup is so lifelike, you can’t help but want to reach out and touch him.
This dog figurine was designed by Dahl Jensen, while he was still working for Bing & Grondahl, just before he left to open his own factory in 1925. Of all the Dahl Jensen dogs we have seen, we believe this one to be one of the most captivating dogs he has done. This exquisite dog is no longer in production, and is difficult to find.
It is large, at 7″ tall x 8″ wide x 9″ long. It is model # 2000, and it is in excellent condition. Whether you collect Dahl Jensen canines, or you are a French Bulldog owner, a Boston Terrier enthusiast, or you are looking for a decorative piece that will surely draw attention and appreciation…this magnificent pup is a “must-have.”
