This magnificent study of a whippet dog was done in pastel on paper and framed under glass.

It is an original dog portrait, signed by the internationally-known, Wisconsin-based artist, Bonita Budysz.

This piece has all the hallmarks of this wonderful artist’s style, including vibrant colors, brushstrokes that give it the look of Impressionist art, and the ability to capture the essence of the dog.

The detailing is extraordinary down to the brilliant gleam in this elegant dog’s eye.

Measuring 23″ tall x 18 1/2″ wide, it is in excellent condition. The frame is solid wood and shows wear that can be expected on a 43 year-old piece.

It is doubled-matted, and framed under glass. It came to us from a private, estate collection, and we believe that it is an original portrait.

This wonderful depiction of such an amazing breed would add a great deal of charm to any canine wall gallery, and it would make a great addition to any whippet collection, or any sighthound enthusiast’s home.
