This large Majolica plate shows a resting spaniel dog, in high relief, with a backdrop of his dog house. This plate measures a full 11 1/4 inches in diameter, and it is in excellent, flawless condition.
The detailing on this plate is beautiful, showing fur lines, and a leafy pattern, using both bright greens and deep green. We have seen a number of these plates, each one always slightly different. This one has the best, sharp detailing and purest colors we have seen.

This wonderful plate is the perfect addition to any Majolica collection, and the perfect addition to the decor of any country or cottage kitchen.
