This whimsical, porcelain figurine of a Basset Hound dog was created by Lladro under it’s NAO brand in Valencia, Spain. Named “The Sad Hound”, he is in excellent condition. He sits a full 7 1/2″ tall x 4″ long x 3″ wide. His underside is marked “NAO Hand Made in Spain by Lladro Daisa. This backstamp was used only from the mid- to -late 1980’s. For a Lladro collector, this figurine with it’s limited backstamp is a great find. If you are a Basset Hound enthusiast…this guy, despite his demeanor, can’t help but make you smile!
