This classic bronze French Bulldog figurine was created by Jennings Brothers of Bridgeport, CT in the 1930’s.

As with all of Jennings Brothers sculptures, this one has exquisite details and an amazingly expressive face, in this case, looking every bit the mild-mannered gentleman.
As a breed, French Bulldogs are unquestionably delightful. This very realistic vintage French Bulldog is no exception.
Measuring 2 1/2″” tall x 4″ long x 1 3/4″wide, he is in excellent condition with just a bit of paint wear. He has a wonderful, painted copper patina, and is marked “JB 1439” on his underside.
He will most certainly add a touch of class to any French Bulldog collection, and of course, he would make the perfect French Bulldog Lovers Gift.
