This large, Goebel figurine of an English Springer Spaniel dog is a perfect porcelain portrait of the breed. He stands a full 6″ tall x 7 3/4″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, and he is in excellent condition. He is marked with the blue Goebel mark with the bee, and he also has CH623 incised on his underside. He is a beautiful liver and creamy white, with elegant, long curly ears and a docked tail. He is standing in a still pose, which for this athletic and joyful breed, can only mean that he is either contemplating his next move, or surveying the results of his last one! He is an elegant and masterfully designed figurine, which would look amazing with other similar porcelains, as well as the perfect addition to a collection of Springers done in various other mediums.
