Can we “Fetch” a classic Boston Terrier
or perhaps another new friend for your consideration?
For fans of the canine portraits done by Gladys Emerson Cook, this is an amazing find.
“A Portfolio of Purebred Dogs” is the complete set of eight dog portraits, complete with the portfolio cover and a five page catalog, describing the art and the artist.
Each portrait is 16″ tall x 12″ wide, and in excellent condition. They include the BOXER, the COCKER SPANIEL, the BOSTON TERRIER, the IRISH SETTER, the COLLIE, the GERMAN SHEPHERD, the SCOTTISH TERRIER, and the DOBERMAN PINSCHER.
Each of these portraits, done by Gladys Emerson Cook, are suitable for framing, and would make a wonderful, decorative piece. Together, they would make an extraordinary wall gallery.
The spine of the Portfolio is worn, but still holds together quite well. The portraits, themselves are in perfect condition.
As a c.1947 First Edition Portfolio, this fabulous collection of the work of Gladys Emerson Cook is highly collectible and it would be an excellent investment into your canine collection.
