This wonderful vintage desk accessory includes a petite bronze dog, and a pen holder on an old onyx, oval-shaped base. The stylized pup looks to be either a Sealyham Terrier, or a Foxhound, and stands 1″ tall x 1 3/4″ long. The uniquely oval base is 4″ long x 2 3/4″ wide. It is in great condition for its age, but it does have a small chip along the top of the base at the back. It is hard to see due to the coloration of the onyx. It also, at one time, must have had a felt pad covering the bottom of the base, which is no longer there, and could be easily replaced.
The pup is perfect and charming.
