As with all Dahl-Jensen canines, this Harlequin Great Dane is perfect in every way. Created by Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen (1874-1960), it is marked #1128 with the Dahl-Jensen stamp. Sitting proudly at 5 1/4″ tall x 3 1/4″ long x 2 3/4″ wide, this elegant pup looks so real, you can’t help but want to touch him. Such realism, combined with Dahl-Jensen’s signature, soft color palette, places this vintage porcelain figurine in a class all its own. He is in excellent condition, and you can find him on page 57 of “Dahl-Jensen Porcelain Figurines 1897-1985” by Caroline and Nick Pope.
