This Dachshund still coin bank is standing alert and ready to guard your coins and your doorway. He is in excellent condition, with a coin slot on the top of his head, and he stands 5″ tall x 8″ long x 2 3/4″ wide. He weighs just under 3 pounds, so he can easily be used as a doorstop as well as a bank. He came to us wearing a sweet, yellow ribbon collar with a small bow. Obviously, this dog’s tale includes someone who loved him, so we decided to leave the collar on him. We also know that this Dachshund still coin bank was created in the early 1950’s. He is certainly a wonderful “multi-purpose” vintage dog to your home decor. If “wiener dogs” melt your heart, then this one is surely a “must-have” for your collection.
