This unique antique, onyx ashtray has a wonderful family of cold-painted bronze Springer Spaniel dogs mounted on it. The middle, adult dog is flanked on each side by an adorable puppy. All three dogs are standing alert and focused straight ahead, with their tails pointed. Perhaps they are all waiting patiently for their human to come home, or the center dog is a dad, giving his two pups a lesson in patience. What great tales you could spin about them!

Measuring 2 1/4″ tall x 4 3/4″ long x 3″ wide, this piece is in overall excellent condition. The onyx base is in excellent condition and the dogs have very little paint loss. Although it was originally designed to use as an ashtray, it could also easily be re-purposed as a place to keep small desk items, or it could be placed on a dresser to hold coins, cufflinks, or rings.

It would make a very unique gift to any Spaniel dog enthusiast, or a special addition to any sporting dog collection.
