This extraordinary, Black Forest wood ink blotter features a Saint Bernard dog.

Hand-carved in the late 1800’s, it showcases exquisite detailing of both the dog and the base, just the same high quality that you would expect from Black Forest, Germany craftsmanship.

The Saint Bernard dog has a wonderful expression (including a worn spot on his nose that just seems to add to his character), and realistic glass eyes.

This antique ink blotter measures 5″ tall x 6″ long x 2 1/4″ wide, and it is in excellent condition.

While this gorgeous, dog figurine was originally meant to be used as a writing accessory, it would also make a very unique and beautiful decorative addition to your home or office.
