Can we “Fetch” a classic Foxhound
or perhaps another new friend for your consideration?
This wonderful pair of Foxhounds look fabulous together. These dogs, model #2265 and model #2262, were designed by Graham Tongue, for Beswick Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. They were issued from 1969- 1997.
Both foxhounds are in excellent condition and well-marked on their undersides. The Foxhound with his head up measures 3″ tall x 4 1/4″ long x 1 1/4″ wide. The Foxhound with his head down and slightly tilted to one side measures 2 3/4″ tall x 3 1/2″ long x 1 1/4″ wide.
For Beswick collectors, these two Foxhounds are part of a Beswick hunting collection, that included a huntsman and huntswoman, both on horseback. That grouping also included a number of foxes and Foxhounds.
For those who collect hunting dogs, this Beswick pair of Foxhounds would make a delightful addition to your collection.
