This very Art Deco pair of Scottish Terrier figurines are bookends. Their understated simplicity and elegance are true to the style of those made by Frankart during the 1920’s through the 1930’s. They measure 5″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, and they are in excellent condition. They are made of a heavy metal with a wonderful bronze patina. They are each stamped “Frankart, Inc. Pat Applied for.”
Every great canine collection deserves a pair of vintage bookends. These highly detailed dogs, with their chiseled bodies and wonderfully expressive faces, really make this pair worth adding to your collection.
