We have kept it “as found” which in this case simply means that we did not remove the touches of remaining, dried ink from the inkwell. It should clean up nicely, with minimum effort, if you should choose to do so. The base, not only holds the removable inkwell, it is also molded to create a pen rest across the front.

The Scotties are quite charming, and make this wonderful desk accessory a unique addition to any Scottish Terrier collection. It measures 5 1/4″ long x 2″ tall x 3″ wide.
