This young-looking Great Dane strikes a proud pose atop both a bronze base, and a black marble block with a beveled edge. This is a signed Antoine Louis Barye (1796-1875) bronze with a very deep brown patina. The attention to detail in the dog’s eyes, jawline and musculature really stands out, and draws you towards him to take a closer look!
