This elegant, sterling silver brooch has a unique oval shape and features a pair of sporting dogs’ heads in profile. Both look to be setters, and they are gorgeously detailed from their necks to the very tips of their noses.

The oval-shaped base of the piece is 2″ long x 1 1/8″ wide, and this brooch weighs 5.2 grams. The pin on the back opens easily and completely and secures tightly. The back edge of the oval is marked “Sterling” and appears to include some a maker’s mark that is difficult to discern.

This is an absolutely gorgeous brooch that would look amazing on both casual and more formal attire. It would also make a wonderful gift for any canine enthusiast.

Please note that the camera really doesn’t do it justice. It really has a lot of “sparkle.”
