Antique Sterling Silver Dog Spinner Watch Fob c.1880

This unique, sterling silver antique watch fob features matching, highly detailed dog heads at the top. It is a spinner fob with a polished bloodstone on one side and a polished cornelian on the other.

They are bezel set in a square sterling silver base, and spin to make the look reversible from a soft deep green to a rich dark red. The look is extraordinarily elegant.

It is well hallmarked with a shield, an anchor, a lion and the maker’s initials “LB.” The entire piece is 1″ tall x 3/4″ wide. There is also a sterling “O” ring at the top.

There are some expected mild scratches on the stones due to their age and wear. They are not noticeable unless you are looking at it under a magnifying glass.

It is a gorgeous piece that is not only highly collectible, but it would make a beautiful, one-of-a-kind pendant for a special dog enthusiast.
