Circa 1900-1908
This exquisite, decorative plate features a hand-painted portrait of either a Greyhound or a Whippet dog.
It was created by the Sevres China Company (Ohio, USA), which was founded in 1738, and known for creating finely detailed, gilded and hand-painted decorative arts for society’s wealthy and privileged.

This antique plate carries the Sevres mark on the back, dating it to between 1900 – 1908. It measures 7 1/4″ in diameter, has an elegant gold plating along the edge, and it is in excellent condition.

Both Greyhound and Whippet lovers will appreciate the realistic beauty of this work of art. It is a wonderful piece to add to your collection.
