This wonderful antique Cecil Aldin signed dog art pitcher was made by Royal Doulton between 1915 and 1930.

It is made of Titanian Ware pottery, which is characterized by a unique glaze, containing titanium oxide, giving it a “mottled” effect. Due to its short production period, examples of Titanian Ware are now considered quite rare, and highly collectible.

This pitcher has an additional reason to cherish it, and that is the very popular and engaging dog art of Cecil Aldin (1870-1935) that adorns both sides.

Measuring a full 7″ tall x 5 1/2″ in diameter at its base, this whimsical pitcher is in excellent, flawless condition.

This fabulous pitcher would make a uniquely special gift for any dog lover or collector.
