This wonderful wood carved Basset Hound was designed by Helmut Diller for th Anri company (founded 1912 Italy.)

He was produced as part of the company’s very popular animal line, which showcased Anri’s exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

This exquisite wood carved Basset Hound looks so realistic, you can’t help but reach out and touch him. He measures 4″ tall x 5 3/4″ long x 1 3/4″ wide, and he is in excellent condition.

He is signed “DILLER” on the base, near this dog’s rear left leg.

He is an extraordinary representation of this fabulous breed, and would certainly make a fabulous gift to any Basset Hound enthusiast.
