Vintage Scottish Terrier Dog Chalkware Plaques c.1940’s

This matched pair of vintage Scottish Terrier dog chalkware plaques are just wonderful. Their animated expressions, with bright, two-tone eyes and fire engine red tongues almost make you think that they just might start barking. They each measure 3 3/4″ tall x 2 1/4″ wide, and although they show some usual wear, it is mostly along the side edges where it is not as noticed once they are hanging on a wall. They are perfect for that small space that needs a bit of pizzazz. Or, add them to a gallery for a touch of whimsy and texture.
