One of the “hard-to-find” Mortens Studio dog figurines, this elegant Doberman Pinscher dog is in MINT condition!

This intelligent, and fearless dog is seated and shown off impeccably with a wonderfully detailed head and face, and a sleek body, done in a high gloss finish.

This absolutely perfect “Dobie” measures a full 7″ tall x 5″ long x 3″ wide.

The designer of this figurine, Oscar Morten, immigrated from Sweden to the U.S. and opened a giftware studio in Chicago in 1931. Over the next two decades, he created over 300 popular dog and horse models. Composed of ceramic over a metal skeleton, these figurines, although beautiful and engaging, were prone to crazing and flaking, thus making it difficult, today, to find examples in perfect condition.

This fabulous and highly collectible vintage dog figurine is a “must-have” for any collector of Mortens Studio dogs, and a unique and beautiful gift for any Doberman Pinscher dog lover.
