This Vintage Folk Art Collie Figurine is both majestic and engaging, just like its “flesh and fur” counterpart.

Measuring a full 12″ tall x 11 1/2″ long x 4 1/2″ wide, it is a wonderful statement piece, that would look amazing on a mantle or on a sofa table.

Although this collie’s gorgeous fur lines make it look as though it was hand carved in wood, it is actually made of very heavy plaster, and then hand-painted.

It weighs approximately 7 1/2 pounds.

This Folk Art Collie is done in both caramel and deep brown against bright white with black accents. The rectangular base is painted a bright “meadow grass” green, that also gives it that Folk Art feel.

The entire piece is in excellent condition, with one chip in the paint on the front of the dog’s left leg. We have taken a close up picture of it, but because the plaster underneath is so close to the color of the top coat of paint, it is very difficult to see. Even with that imperfection, this Collie figurine is stunning.
