This fantastic cabinet plate captures the true ancestry of the Scottie by placing it against an intricately painted Highlands background.

This work of art is 10 1/2″ in diameter, and it is in mint condition.

The back shows the Royal Doulton stamp, and the series # D6304. This number appears during the years 1949-1952, after which it was discontinued.

The detailing of this painting-on-a-plate is extraordinary from the fur lines on the Scottie, to the flowers and grass in the background.

It would make a wonderful gift to a Scottie-loving friend, or keep it yourself to add to a collection or even a framed art gallery in your home, as an interesting focal point.
