This unique and wonderful Chinese fine porcelain figurine is a Pekingese Dog and her puppy. Measuring a full 6 1/4″ tall x 8 1/2″ long x 5″ wide, it is quite heavy as well, weighing nearly 2 1/2 lbs.

This unique and wonderful Chinese fine porcelain figurine is a Pekingese Dog and her puppy.
Measuring a full 6 1/4″ tall x 8 1/2″ long x 5″ wide, it is quite heavy as well, weighing nearly 2 1/2 lbs.

The adult dog has gorgeous flowing fur lines, and a posture worthy of the breed that originated in China and was the favorite of the royalty of the Chinese Imperial Court. It actually looks as though she is giving her puppy instructions as to how to imitate her grace and charm.

This dog figurine is approximately 50-60 years old, and it is in excellent condition.
