This exquisite,  Collie dog was modeled after a noted champion Collie, “Ashtead Applause”, who was owned by a Mr. Roberts c.1931.

He was designed by Fredrick Daws of Royal Doulton. This wonderful, porcelain figurine was first produced in 1931, and it was retired in 1969.

This gorgeous Collie dog stands 3 1/2″ tall x 5″ long x 1 1/4″ wide and it is in excellent condition.

He would make an elegant addition to your Royal Doulton or Collie collection, or a very thoughtful gift to your favorite Collie enthusiast.
