This bronze Greyhound figurine has all of the elegant and striking design elements of the Art Deco period. Measuring a full 7 1/2″ tall x 5″ long x 3 1/2″ wide, it’s sleek, stylized, and angular look is complimented by a gilded finish that was quite popular in 1920’s-1930’s design. Likewise, Greyhounds, Whippets, Salukis and Borzois were quite popular in all forms ofÂ deco art.

This elegant Greyhound rests on a marble base, and is bending his head down to lick his leg. The extraordinary detailing includes the dog’s ribs, his collar and his tongue.

The entire piece is in excellent condition, and ready to be added with distinction to your Greyhound collection or Art Deco home.
