This Hutschenreuther English Cocker spaniel, is not only exquisitely detailed, but is is done in a deep sable, which is listed as a rare color for this breed. The artist took great care to show off this dog’s voluminous fur on her body, as well as on her long ears. She has deep set, expressive eyes, and a soft, gentle look that is, at the same time, quite realistic.

Measuring 4″ tall x 5 1/4″ long x 1 3/4″ wide, she is marked with the Hutschenreuther mark and “Germany”, placing her creation somewhere between the late 1800’s and the early 1900’s. She is in excellent, flawless condition.

If you are a Cocker Spaniel enthusiast, you can’t but help fall in love with this elegant dog. With her head slightly cocked to one side, she is looking expectantly your way.
