This elegant pair of wood table lamps are each a seated Whippet dog. They are large, measuring a full 15 1/2″ tall x 6″ long x 5″ wide, and quite heavy. The details are similar to those that you see in bronze figurines by Mene or Barye: detailed collars with bells, realistic paws, tails and musculature.
They are solid wood that was painted to give them a deep brown/bronze glossy patina. They are exactly the same color, although in some of the pictures, our camera lighting makes them look slightly different. They are in excellent, working condition. They are being sold without shades. Either a neutral beige/tan shade or a soft black shade would look equally terrific on these lamps.
