This lovely baby pink planter is so charming. It looks to be a sweet Cocker Spaniel, seated and waiting patiently for something special. It is glazed inside and out and in excellent condition.

This lovely baby pink planter is so charming. It looks to be a sweet Cocker Spaniel, seated and waiting patiently for something special. It is glazed inside and out and in excellent condition. It was made by the Shawnee Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio (1937-1961) from natural clay found in the area. At 6 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 4″ wide, it works well as a planter for a small plant, but would also make a wonderfully unique and whimsical baby gift to hold cotton balls near a changing table or other special trinkets in a little girl’s room.
